One of my favourite trends to come from the runway into street style is the exaggerated sleeves trend. Whether they’re oversized, bell shaped or just slightly Victorian-esque I am all over it and so is the high street.

One of my favourite high end brands that does this oversized style incredible well is Vetements (but sadly on few can afford) but I've found that the high street brands have taken a leaf out of Vetements design book and created more purse friendly fast fashion.

The main thing I love about this trend is that if you have at least one shirt/blouse/t-shirt in this style can really change up a basic jeans and jumper outfit fit for all the instragrammable purposes.
Also in addition, for those that follow the minimal style way of life, these pieces need to be added to your wardrobe.

Since it’s now autumn (but definitely more like winter in the UK) one of my favourite things to do is layer, we’ve seen this over the end of the summer months with people pairing plain white tees under cute lacy cami tops so taking it to the next level pairing a turtle neck with a crisp white oversized style shirt and an aviator jacket (my outfit goals) is something I will definitely be trying out, but you can see on pinterest people are already styling.

Bell Sleeve off the shoulder: Missguided
Blouse: H&M
Both sold out. Sorry.
I paired both the tops with the same American Apparel jeans and trainers as I have worn both these tops for 'going out' occasions, and I think they work well both ways.

Whats your favourite trend this a/w?

  1. I'm a fan of the bell sleeves but I doubt I'll ever be able to pull the trend off. Your photos are amazing btw!
